Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 August 2026

1. Data Controller

The data controller for your personal data is Stanisław Klimas, operating under the brand Webstars (email: hello@webstars.studio). We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer.

2. Data We Collect and Why

Contact form

When you fill out the contact form, we collect: your name (provided voluntarily), your email address, and the content of your message.

This data is processed solely for the purpose of responding to your enquiry or taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract for web design services. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps taken at your request.

Server logs

Our hosting provider generates standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, date and time of request). We do not actively analyse these logs; they are deleted automatically after the hosting provider's retention period.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

webstars.studio does not store any cookies on your device. We use sessionStorage — a browser storage mechanism that stores locally (only on your device) information about whether you have closed the promotional banner. This data is not transmitted to our server and disappears when you close the browser tab.

Planned analytics: We may implement Google Analytics 4 in the future. Before doing so, we will display a consent banner in accordance with GDPR requirements.

4. Recipients of Your Data

Your data may be shared with:

  • Resend (Resend Inc., USA) — email delivery provider. Transfer is based on Standard Contractual Clauses (Article 46(2)(c) GDPR). Resend only processes the sender's email address and the message content required for delivery.
  • Hosting provider — the server on which this website runs. Data is accessible to the provider as a processor to the extent necessary to maintain the infrastructure.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

Data submitted via the contact form is retained for no longer than 12 months from the last contact, or until it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. If a contract is concluded, data may be retained for the period required by applicable law (e.g. tax and accounting regulations).

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR you have the following rights:

  • Right of access (Article 15) — you may request a copy of your data.
  • Right to rectification (Article 16) — you may request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure (Article 17) — you may request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Right to restriction of processing (Article 18) — you may request restriction of processing.
  • Right to data portability (Article 20) — you may receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Right to object (Article 21) — you may object to processing.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@webstars.studio.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw — uodo.gov.pl — or with your local supervisory authority.

7. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or destruction. All communication with this website is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
